Deputy CM Pawan reviews tiger movement in Kakinada district..

Kakinada District : Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Thursday reviewed the movement of a tiger in the reserve forest area near Dharapalli in Prathipadu mandal. During the review, Pawan Kalyan sought details from officials regarding the tiger’s movements, the prevailing situation and the measures being taken by the Forest Department. He also reviewed precautionary measures for the safety of villages located along the forest border. Senior officials from the Forest, Police and Revenue departments participated in the meeting. Pawan Kalyan directed the Forest Department and ‘Hanuman’ teams to maintain continuous surveillance of the tiger’s movements. He instructed officials to take preventive measures to prevent the animal from entering inhabited areas and to ensure close coordination among all departments.

He stressed the need to alert residents of forest-border villages and monitor the situation in coordination with local revenue officials. The Deputy Chief Minister said the safety of people should be given the highest priority while also ensuring that necessary precautions are taken to prevent any harm to the tiger. He further directed the Forest, Police and Revenue departments to work in coordination and regularly track the tiger’s movements. Rapid Response Teams should remain ready to act immediately in the event of an emergency, he said. Pawan Kalyan also instructed officials to review the situation periodically, take prompt decisions based on developments and give special attention to preventive measures so that residents do not face inconvenience or unnecessary fear.
