Tight security arrangements for Khairatabad Maha Ganapati Shobha Yatra: CP Sajjanar

Hyderabad : The Khairatabad Mahaganapati, which was prepared for immersion after receiving special prayers during Ganesh Navratri, was taken on a tusker. The Mahaganapati procession will begin soon. The police blocked the route of the Ganesha. In this order, CP VC Sajjanar inspected the security arrangements at the Khairatabad Bada Ganesha. On this occasion, the CP said that elaborate security arrangements have been completed for the Vinayaka immersion festival and procession. The preparations for the immersion of the Khairatabad Mahaganapati were inspected at the field level along with senior officials. Before the inspection, Sajjanar performed special prayers to the Bada Ganesha along with the officials.

The CP said that steps have been taken to ensure that the main procession from Balapur to Hussainsagar runs smoothly. He said that advance planning is being implemented in coordination with the GHMC, Electricity, Water Board and other departments. About 20,000 police personnel have been deployed for security. He revealed that 10,000 CCTV cameras on the procession routes have been connected to the TGICCC Command Control Center. He said that 26 ‘She-Teams’ will work in three shifts for the safety of women and young girls. He advised people to plan their journeys by observing the guidelines issued by the traffic department. CP Sajjanar called for celebrating the festival peacefully and joyfully.
