Hyderabad : The Telangana government has given the green signal for major development works at Musi Riverfront. The government has issued administrative approvals for a total of Rs. 1,108.27 crore for the development of the Omkareshwara Swamy Temple complex at Manchirevula and the construction of a six-lane road. The government has issued orders to this effect through G.O.Rt.No.928.

The government has allocated Rs. 948.65 crore for the development work of the Omkareshwara Swamy Temple complex in Manchirevu. Constructions such as Rajagopuram, Yagasala, Pushkarini etc. will be undertaken in the temple complex. Another Rs. 159.62 crore has been allocated for the construction of a six-lane road. A six-lane road with a width of 30 meters.. 100 feet will be constructed. A road of about 2.50 kilometers will be constructed from Istana Villas to Kirti Westwind Villas. This six-lane road will be connected to the Greyhounds and Young India Police School areas. Also, better connectivity will be provided to the Omkareshwara Temple complex with the Musi Riverfront Road Network.
