President’s visit to Vijayawada Saras Mela.. 600 stalls to be set up: Pemmasani Chandrasekhar

Vijayawada : Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar said that Saras Mela will be organized grandly along with Vijayawada Utsav. Speaking to the media today (Saturday), he said that Saras Mela is a program that brings Dwakra women from all over the country on one platform. He said that it is a good platform for women to grow as entrepreneurs. He said that President Draupadi Murmu will attend the Saras Mela on the 15th of this month. He said that a total of 600 stalls are being set up in this mela and that domestic flavors will also be introduced through Saras Mela.

The Union Minister said that rural women will get national recognition through Saras Mela. He said that this Mela is a national marketing platform for women’s products. He revealed that it is a single platform for food items and arts across the country. He said that Vijayawada Utsav will be organized till the 20th of this month. He called for making Saras Mela a success. Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar said that the Dussehra celebrations will also be held on a grand scale.
