Formula E-car race case.. KTR’s discharge petition in ACB court

Hyderabad : Former minister KTR has filed a discharge petition in the Formula E car race case that created a sensation in Telangana. This petition was filed in the Nampally ACB court today (Monday). The former minister has requested that his name be removed from the charge sheet filed by the ACB in this case. He has stated in the petition that his name should be removed from the list of accused. It is learnt that the Nampally court will hold a hearing on the discharge petition filed by KTR next month (November).

It is known that the ACB officials have already included KTR’s name in the charge sheet as A1 accused in this case. The court has taken into consideration the charge sheet filed by the ACB. KTR has already appeared in court twice in this case. Now, a discharge petition has been filed by KTR seeking to remove his name from the ACB charge sheet. It is reported that the ACB court will soon conduct an inquiry into this.
