On the occasion of Moola Nakshatra, Chandrababu and his wife to offer silk garments to Goddess Durga.

Vijayawada : The Dussehra Sharannavaratri celebrations are going on in grand style at Indrakiladri. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his wife will offer silk clothes to Kanakadurgamma on the occasion of the most auspicious Moola Nakshatra during the celebrations. The CM couple will offer silk clothes to the goddess tomorrow (Friday) at 4 pm. On the other hand, free darshan will be provided in all queue lines tomorrow on the occasion of Moola Nakshatra. The temple authorities have decided to provide free darshan to common devotees easily and quickly.

In view of the rush of general devotees, the inner temple darshans, protocol and recommended darshans have been completely canceled. All devotees will be provided with decorative darshan of Sri Saraswati Devi from the Mukhamandapam. Also, the temple authorities have decided not to allow any private vehicles on the hill tomorrow to avoid traffic problems. All types of vehicle passes already issued, including service passes, will be temporarily put on hold. The temple authorities have decided to allow only emergency official transport.
