Vizianagaram : Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh visited PMSri AP Model School in Bhogapuram, Vizianagaram district on Tuesday. Later, they left for Visakhapatnam from Bhogapuram. On this occasion, Minister Nara Lokesh briefed Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan about the reforms being implemented in the state education department, the development of government schools and the facilities being provided to students. Lokesh explained the steps being taken to make government educational institutions in the state comparable to private educational institutions. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who spoke to the students at PMSri AP Model School, praised their talent. He expressed satisfaction with the students answering the questions asked by the education ministers with confidence. He also praised the educational standards, teaching methods and infrastructure in the school. Dharmendra Pradhan said that the steps being taken by the Andhra Pradesh government to strengthen the government education system are commendable. He praised the efforts of the state government in developing government schools with modern facilities and moving forward with the aim of providing quality education.
