TG High Court Directs Removal of Hydra Commissioner Ranganath Over Court Order Violations

Hyderabad: Key developments have taken place in the Telangana High Court regarding the Lotkunta land issue. During the hearing of this case, the High Court expressed deep dissatisfaction with Hydra Commissioner Ranganath. It has issued orders to the Chief Secretary (CS) of the Telangana government to remove Ranganath from the post of Hydra Commissioner. The bench said that it is not reasonable for a high-ranking officer in the rank of Secretary to defy the court orders. The High Court has suggested that a qualified officer be appointed as Hydra Commissioner. The court, which expressed its anger over 63 contempt of court petitions, has criticized Hydra’s interference in the private lands of Lotkunta. It has been stated that if Ranganath continues as Hydra Commissioner, the rule of law will be violated. The Telangana High Court has made it clear that it is not right to continue an officer who is committing so many violations in the same post. Ranganath has been removed. Ranganath apologizes to the High Court: During the hearing of this case, Hydra Commissioner Ranganath apologized to the High Court. He stated in the affidavit that he has great faith in the courts and the judicial system. He also explained to the court that the Hydra team did not enter the 40 acres of land within Lotkunta Survey Numbers 1 and 2. Ranganath also stated in his affidavit that the petitioner is making false allegations in this regard.
