Hydra Drive Will Continue Against Land Encroachments : CM Revanth Reddy

New Delhi : Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has made it clear that the Hydra works will continue. He said that the occupation cores are not being used by Hydra. CM Revanth Reddy, who is touring Delhi on Tuesday, spoke to reporters. He made it clear that if encroachments are done, big boys and poor people should be quiet. He questioned the opposition whether the poor or the elders have occupied the Bathukamma kuntals in Gandipet. He questioned them saying that the N Convention is for the poor or the elders. The CM described Hydra as the biggest reform they have brought. He slammed the government for having the discretion to appoint anyone as the top officer of Hydra. On this occasion, CM Revanth Reddy reminded that there are more than 400 contempt of court cases against retired IAS officer Somesh Kumar. He lashed out at the BRS leaders, saying that they had filed cases with malicious intent and misled the court. He said that they would examine the court verdict and then formulate further action. They said that they have complete clarity on the activities of Hydra. They advised the media not to cooperate with the squatters. They expressed anger that they are spreading false propaganda against Hydra on social media by spending money. In the context of the investigation into the Lotkunta land case, the Telangana High Court on Monday expressed deep dissatisfaction with Hydra Commissioner A.V. Ranganath. It ordered the Chief Secretary to the government to remove Ranganath from the post of Hydra Commissioner. On this occasion, the Telangana High Court bench commented that it is not reasonable for a high-ranking officer in the rank of Secretary.. to defy the court orders. On this occasion, it suggested to the government to appoint a qualified officer as Hydra Commissioner. It was of the opinion that if Ranganath continues as Hydra Commissioner, the rule of law will be violated. The Telangana High Court said that there is no other alternative but to remove him.
