Amaravati : Andhra Pradesh Handloom and Textile Minister Savita held a review meeting with the department officials on Monday afternoon. She discussed with the officials on the implementation and functioning of the ‘Netanna Sevalo’ scheme and gave them directions. On this occasion, Minister Savita gave key instructions to the handloom workers. Those eligible for the ‘Netanna Sevalo’ scheme were advised to apply by 5 pm on the 5th of this month. Minister Savita appealed to all the handloom workers to apply before the due date and receive the assistance provided by the government. She said that CM Chandrababu will launch this scheme in Chirala, Guntur district on the 7th of this month on the occasion of International Handloom Day. She said that through this, financial assistance of Rs. 25 thousand will be provided to the handloom workers annually. The minister expressed confidence that the coalition government is going to implement the ‘Netanna Sevalo’ scheme despite not making any promises in the elections. On this occasion, Savita said that CM Chandrababu’s goal is to provide a dignified life to the handloom workers.
