Palle Panduga 3.0 Will Transform the Face of Villages: Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan

Nellore : Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said Palle Panduga 3.0 would bring a major transformation to villages across Andhra Pradesh. Pawan Kalyan, along with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, formally launched the Palle Panduga 3.0 programme in Nellore district. Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister said several development initiatives had been undertaken over the past two years through Palle Panduga and the Jal Jeevan Mission. He criticised the previous YSRCP government, alleging that it had failed to provide adequate funds to gram panchayats. With the support of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, the Panchayat Raj Department had been strengthened, Pawan Kalyan said. He added that the government was committed to accelerating development and improving infrastructure in rural areas through Palle Panduga 3.0.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said the coalition government had undertaken several development works since assuming office, including the construction of roads, mini Gokulams and farm ponds. He said roads had also been laid to remote tribal hamlets, adding that rural development had gained momentum across Andhra Pradesh since 2024. Pawan Kalyan said drinking water was being supplied to several areas through the Amarajeevi Jaladhara initiative. He also stated that internal village roads were being constructed across 161 rural Assembly constituencies. Emphasising the importance of public participation in the state’s development, the Deputy Chief Minister said the active involvement of people was essential for achieving sustainable progress in rural areas. Pawan Kalyan further said the support and cooperation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had contributed to the successful implementation of the Palle Panduga programme.
