We will declare Rayalaseema as a horticulture hub.. Development with Rs. lakh crores: Minister Savita

Kadapa: Minister Savita said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is fighting tirelessly as a child of Rayalaseema for ‘Rising Rayalaseema’. TDP leaders organized a huge rally in Pulivendula in solidarity with the Rayalaseema Horticulture Hub. Minister Savita participated in this rally. Speaking on the occasion, she said that the CM will declare Rayalaseema as a horticulture hub on October 2, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. She said that one lakh crores will be spent for the horticulture hub. It was revealed that Rs. 26 thousand crores will be allocated for irrigation projects.

The minister said steps would be taken to provide irrigation water to every acre, along with the construction of warehouses and cold storage facilities to support farmers and agricultural activities. She criticised former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, stating that even Pulivendula could not be provided with adequate irrigation facilities during his tenure. She said the government is currently supplying drinking water to Pulivendula at a cost of ₹480 crore. Referring to the recently held Pulivendula ZPTC by-election, the minister said the people had given the TDP a significant majority. She appealed to voters to support the TDP in the upcoming municipal elections as well. Minister Savitha reiterated that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is committed to the development of Pulivendula and assured that the government would continue to undertake measures for the region’s overall progress.
