Rs. 150 crore sanctioned for Hyderabad Metro Phase-2

Hyderabad : The state government has good news for the city residents. It has released Rs. 150 crore for Hyderabad Metro Phase-2. Administrative approvals have been granted for the release of funds in the form of loans. It is known that the government has allocated Rs. 500 crore for the Metro in the 2026-27 budget. It has given the green signal for the sanction of Rs. 125 crore as the first installment. To this extent, it has issued G.O.R.T. No. 990. It has also directed the officials to submit a report on the utilization of funds every month.
