Mahabubnagar : Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has accused BRS leaders of looting thousands of crores of commissions in the name of water projects during the previous government’s tenure. He expressed anger that water was not provided to a single acre after receiving the commissions. CM Revanth Reddy is touring the united Mahabubnagar district on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Telangana came into being when KCR was the MP of Mahabubnagar and that he did not care about Palamuru, which had been helped in difficult times.


CM Revanth said that they expected KCR to complete the Palamuru projects, but he did nothing for the united Palamuru district. The Chief Minister flagged that the Karu party leader had done great injustice to the district. Revanth said that BRS is spreading false propaganda on water projects. Rs. 1.81 lakh crores were spent during their rule. He said that Rs. lakh crores were spent on Kaleshwaram alone. The Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project was grossly neglected. He said that if it had been completed, it would have been possible to irrigate 26 lakh acres of ayacut. CM Revanth was furious that Rs. 27 thousand crores were spent on this project.. and only pumps and lifts were built with thousands of crores.
