Amaravati as an Equity, Nature, Opportunity and Livable city: CM Chandrababu

Singapore/Amaravati : Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s second-day visit to Singapore continues. The CM, who participated in the ‘World Cities Summit’, gave a speech on the topic ‘Can Smart Cities Love Humans’ in the Leadership Plenary-2. He said that he talked about IT 25 years ago, and today Telugus are leading in per capita income with the first mover advantage. Now AI has come. He said that Cyberabad was developed then, and today it has become the main source of income for Telangana. He said that with the bifurcation of the state, there is an opportunity to build another city and he revealed that Amaravati is being built as a green field city. The CM said that our policy is people first and that Amaravati will be an equity, nature, opportunity and livable city. He said that Amaravati is being developed as a platform of opportunities with international infrastructure. He explained that Amaravati is taking shape wonderfully with the Krishna River, Inner – Outer Ring Roads, and iconic bridges. He said that concepts like sports, financial, knowledge, justice, tourism, health, and media have been taken. With a single call, farmers have handed over 35 thousand acres for the capital… Some of them are being developed and plots are being given back to the farmers. He said that Amaravati will be a 21 km long waterfront city. The Chief Minister revealed that the capital is being built with the goal of cycling, walking track, green field airport, underground utilities, green energy, and net zero. He said that if an acre in Cyberabad was Rs. 2 lakhs earlier… today it has increased to Rs. 200 crores. He said that Cyberabad is proof that wealth creation is possible if development happens. He said that we are making Amaravati a knowledge city… We are bringing national and international educational institutions. He said that the quantum computing hub and digital infrastructure are special attractions. He said that Amaravati is being built as the best city in the world. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu called on people to visit Amaravati and utilize the opportunities with new ideas.
