Visakhapatnam : The President of India, Draupadi Murmu, has made it clear that educated youth play a crucial role in nation building. The first convocation of the Central Tribal University in Visakhapatnam was held on Tuesday. The President was the chief guest at the ceremony and presented degrees to the students. Speaking on the occasion, President Draupadi Murmu said with emotion, “I am also the first graduate from a remote village. Today, I am very happy to present degrees to so many young people.” She advised the students not to forget the lower classes of society who are still backward in the process of scaling higher peaks. “Not only do you move forward in life… if you look back, you will see many poor and marginalized people waiting for development. You should contribute your part in encouraging them,” she called. Draupadi Murmu said that the role of youth is crucial towards achieving the goal of ‘Vikasit Bharat’ and hoped that the youth should take the lives of great personalities like former President APJ Abdul Kalam as an example.
