Continuously monitor low-lying areas: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan

Kakinada : Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan held a review meeting with the Kakinada Collector on the situation in the district in the wake of heavy rains. He advised people to remain alert until the rains subside completely. Pawan inquired about the flooding of Suddagadda Vagu in Pithapuram constituency due to heavy rains. He asked the officials about the situation in the Uppada coastal area. He issued orders to the relevant officials to this effect. He advised them to continue continuous monitoring of low-lying areas. He asked them to move people from flood-prone areas to safer areas. He ordered them to immediately remove the trees that had fallen on the roads due to heavy rains and take steps to restore traffic. In addition, the Deputy Chief Minister instructed the district administration to take steps to ensure that there is no water accumulation and to carry out dewatering from time to time.
