Supreme Court’s key verdict on Danam Nagender’s disqualification.. Harish Rao’s reaction

Hyderabad : The Supreme Court has upheld the Telangana High Court order declaring Danam Nagender disqualified from the post of MLA. BRS leaders are welcoming the Supreme Court’s verdict. BRS MLA and former minister Harish Rao responded to this. On Thursday, he responded through his x-account.. ‘The Supreme Court’s verdict on Danam Nagender’s disqualification is a slap in the face to the Congress’s dual stance. The Supreme Court’s verdict upholding Danam Nagender’s disqualification.. questions the dual stance of the Congress party, which has been repeatedly talking about protecting the Constitution.’

‘Rahul Gandhi is talking about protecting the Constitution by saying “Samvidhan Bachao” across the country. Now it is time to put those words into practice. If Rahul Gandhi has a real commitment to the Constitution.. then he should demand that the other MLAs who have defected to the Congress also resign and seek the verdict of the people’.

‘Rahul Gandhi, who is talking about constitutional morality in Delhi.. why is he silent on the politics of defections being followed by his party in Telangana?. Is “Samvidhan Bachao” just a political slogan? Or a real constitutional commitment? Rahul Gandhi should clarify.
