Hyderabad : Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy held a review meeting with top officials at the Secretariat on Tuesday on the issues of contract and outsourcing employees. On this occasion, he directed the officials on several key issues. He instructed the officials to prepare plans for digital governance and formulate necessary laws. He directed them to move forward by completely digitizing the administrative system. The CM suggested that digital governance would be useful in providing better services to the people and directly reaching the beneficiaries with welfare schemes. He ordered that the details should be completely digitized to provide salaries to government employees as well as contract and outsourcing employees on the first day. He directed that the salaries and bank account details of contract and outsourcing employees in various departments should be digitized. He said that a committee is being appointed to carry out a full-scale exercise on digital governance. He ordered that a report be submitted to the committee within 100 days and a conclusion be drawn. CM Revanth Reddy has made it clear that strict action will be taken against contract and outsourcing agencies that do not pay salaries to employees on time even though the government has made payments.
