Amaravati : Education, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh’s visit to Kolkata continues. The minister, who met with prominent industrialists on Friday, asked them to cooperate in the industrial development of Andhra Pradesh. Lokesh met Visa Steel Vice Chairman and Managing Director Vishal Agarwal, Emami Group Director Aditya Agarwal, and Shree Cements Vice Chairman Prashant Bangur. He praised the revolutionary reforms and policies undertaken by the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Lokesh explained the way in which reforms are being implemented strategically for industrial development, investment attraction and employment generation in Andhra Pradesh. He said that their goal is to make Andhra Pradesh an industrial and manufacturing hub in India. Minister Lokesh said that the work of the ‘ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel’ integrated steel plant, one of the largest industrial investments in the country, has already started near Anakapalle.
